Botany clearly states that one prevalent mode of reproduction among vegetable kingdom is of sexual nature using male & female genders. Consider the following Qur’anic verse:

"And has sent down water from the sky.’ With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others." [Al-Qur’an 20:53]

This is a clear indication of existence of two separate genders as in case of other higher living forms. The culmination of the reproductive process comes with the germination of the seed once its outside casing is opened. (Sometimes it is compacted in to fruit-stone). Consider the following Qur’anic verse:

"Verily, God splits the grain and the fruit-stone." [Al-Qur’an 6:95]

Fruit is the end product of reproduction of the superior plants. The stage preceding fruit is the flower, which has male and female organs (stamens and ovules). Once a pollen grain has been carried to the flower, they bear fruit, which in turn matures and frees its seed. All fruits therefore imply the existence of male and female organs; a fact that is mentioned in the Qur’an.

"And fruit of every kind He made in pairs, two and two." [Al-Qur’an13: 3]

Existence of pairs that complement each other such as male & female sexes in living beings is a well-known fact. So also in variety of other things such pairing is an undeniable fact; such as electrons & protons, rods & cone cells, sympathetic & parasympathetic systems, Insuline & Glucagone, atom & anti-atom are only few examples of such pairs. And now consider the following Qur’anic verse:

"Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge." [Al-Qur’an 36:36]

The Qur’an here says that everything is created in pairs, including things that the humans do not know at present and may discover later.

Scientists are now talking of the possibility of the existence of an Anti-World as a pair of this world? Hereafter???
